Come meet members of Emory’s growing network of alumni influencing change in social causes that matter.

This business casual networking night brings together professionals and leaders in the government, policy, legal education, and nonprofit sectors.

At this event, alumni will share their unique career stories with current students who will be able to meet like-minded alumni working in areas affecting positive social change.

Students will also learn about part-time, internship, and full-time opportunities that may be available.

Managing Director, Youth Development and Atlanta's Westside

Daniel Shoy, Jr. “Danny”,  joined the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation staff in February 2022 and serves as Managing Director for Youth Development and Westside Atlanta. Danny leads two of the foundation’s giving areas – Atlanta’s Westside, aimed to increase economic mobility for legacy residents in the English Avenue and Vine City neighborhoods through affordable housing and financial inclusion, and Youth Development, aimed to increase economic mobility for young people primarily in rural communities in Georgia and Montana.

Tolton Pace joined the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation staff in September 2023 and serves as senior program officer, Atlanta’s Westside. In this role, Pace will oversee a range of grants aimed at increasing economic mobility through financial inclusion and affordable housing for legacy residents in the English Avenue and Vine City neighborhoods. He will also foster connections with nonprofit partners who share in offering solutions to protect residents’ opportunities to stay in this rapidly changing neighborhood.

Tye has over 10 years of experience spanning various fields. Recognized as a connector and creative problem solver, they excel in designing and executing impactful strategies and solutions for clients across different industries. Holding a Juris Master in International Law and Foreign Relations, a Master's in International Human Rights Law, and a Bachelor's in International Studies, they boast a strong academic background.

In their role as Associate Strategy Director at BCG BrightHouse, they lead and coordinate complex projects aligned with clients' purposes and visions. Leveraging their skills in strategic planning, project management, partnership development, and facilitation, they navigate complex challenges adeptly. Collaborating closely with cross-functional BCG teams, they infuse the element of 'Purpose' into ongoing workstreams, amplifying the impact and value of the firm's offerings. Their mission is clear: to assist clients in discovering and activating their true potential while driving positive change globally.
